Okay, made the first step yesterday to getting the little bugger back on the road....

And as usual i was hit with one thing after another lol

Firstly the battery has shorted out internally as expected, secondly it started up and instantly shredded the cam-belt in half due to a bolt that had fell down!
I decided to run it anyway due to the magic non interference engine design and it runs horrid lol. it running mega lean and coughing and spluttering every 20-30 seconds and i have no idea why!! lol

God ive missed this car! haha

So, first things i need to do is actually make it run good enough to drive it to work!!......dump valve sounded nice and mechanically the engine sounded sweet though

im still on the look out for a bargin cheap super clean black Cinq though haha.....is such a thing exists to put all my running gear in.
I also reeeeally need to find a punto 75 ECU with locks and keys etc and a 75 wiring loom because i really do want to run multipoint injection both on and off boost. As it is now mine runs single point injection off boost which was designed to run with a stock 1108cc Cinq but its running a 1250cc punto 75 engine!, then i need another MF2 as i sold me spare haha......

Take it we wont be meeting up any time soon to have a black turbo Cinq photoshoot!!!

Know the feeling about dropping a bolt. We have done it but luckily it didn't rip the belt off. But did mash it good!!!!!

I think the cinq needs some evil eye brows on the bonnet

Glad to here it's had a run shame about the belt but doesn't matter if it snaps your one of the lucky people
