todays trip out
really enjoyed todays trip out, im totally and utterly over the moon that i got to take the cinq with me. I rewired the MF2 and found a suspected broken wire from the built in map sensor to the board on the MF2 so with that sorted it seems to be kicking in the MPI nicely! me and chris (mariocinq) took it for spin into town and back and other than a very kangaroo like off boost fueling it went like the clappers, i ran it without the water injection, without the new cooler and the stock 1.5" TB inlet so power was back to around 156 with great results! i think chris was impressed massively even with it way down on power!
However today before the cruise i sorted the water injection out and found a few earthing issues under the bonnet for the lambda which had been causing a slightly to rich mixture.....when i took it out this morning it felt fa-nominal at just 10psi which is what i left it at for the entire day!!! i pulled away from an Vauxhall astra VXR from 50mph really well and it felt nothing less than scary fast and its felt this way all day with each gear feeling like ive been launched from a catapult even in 4th up hills !!
Other than the very bad off boost fueling mostly down the lambda its been great to get back behind the wheel off the little monst! (and slightly challenging to drive off boost ) nothing ive ever drove makes me feel as good and i can say ive never drove anything faster
here are some pics off the monst today -
thanks

thankyou mate, wish you could have been in it for the cruise after playing around, the power at just 10psi is incredible to say the least.....matt (fishgt) experienced it yesterday night for a few blasts before the MF2 packed up again haha......its been removed for close inspection!
i would say from the feel off it alone it was putting out 160 plus at 10psi as it pulled stronger than ever. odd because now the fueling at 15psi is messed up....tut.

Re: My 1250cc Fiat Cinquecento Turbo
its temporarily been removed...it wasnt fully secured and the brackets i had made needed bumper mods, meanwhile i was getting desperate to drive it again and the brakes and battery wearnt to happy about being stood so i fitted the old GT Turbo cooler back on and made it drivable again. So its back down to 165bhp but trust me when i say its enough.......it left an astra VXR wanting with the boost controller set low boost (9psi) so for now it will do and then when its back run ok ill be fitting that along with my new TB top and then its back to Nobles for another setup

Bit of good news!!
Hello everyone
Had a bit off an afternoon blast on the cinq today to try and keep ontop off things starting with the alarm!
It seems there is a possibility the standard immobilizer may have had an issue and caused the alarm to play up because after giving up trying to start the car previously i tried the Red key (Master key) which started the car up first time leaving the keycode light on....i then turned it off again and tried the blue key again, this turned on the ignition but failed to prime the fuel pump or turn the engine over. Tried it again with the Master key which started it up again no problem
Im now using the red key permanently or should i say it attached to the blue key at all times!, having kind off sorted that out i then tried to re-sync the alarm fob back the the alarm system and bingo it worked and now unlocks and locks the car fine.
Having learnt a lesson from this ive also taken the time today to swap my nice shiny de-locked handles for my old Cinqs grey plastic ones with locks in, but this now means i can enter the car with the old cinqs key regardless off what the alarm is doing so effectively im never locked out!...thankfully!
Ive also replaced both door seals on the Cinq today as im fed up off having the local swimming pool situated in my footwell! hopefully that will cure that one because when i washed the car today i noticed a water trail from the door seal to the floor.
Ow and the best bit............ive ordered another brand new ERL Aquamist MF2 so once it gets here i can get it fitted, save up and get it setup on the rollers again at some point with the new intercooler on and a new 2" TB plenum!
Just need to get another Lambda sensor off Ricky now because MF2 or no MF2 the car is running like a bag of s##t!!!
shes coming back to life guys!!
thanks
jason
