Re: My Polo 6n2
yeah i cant wait in a way but on the other hand im also quite nervous cos i want my car to be ok, at first we was on about puttin a 5th injector above the throttle body to put some more fuel in when the boost came in but now im thinking bigger injectors and gettin it mapped and set up properly. we deal with a few companys so might be able to get the mapping done quite cheap will post some more pics tomorrow if i get chance, although ryan gets to see in morning if he's at college

Re: My Polo 6n2
well im driving about at the moment with everything connected driving around steady.......ish very tempting to put my foot down, you can feel the turbo come in but i have to drop off so it doesnt lean out, this weekend thinking about puttin my 5th injector in but not sure yet want a weekend off, but i will definatly take a few pics this weekend and post them up

is this running the stock C/R??
also what are you using to fuel the 5th injecotor?, i ran the same setup on mine back when it was a low boost with 96bhp and took the setup right upto 125bhp @15psi......although it was not good at all with high boost and higher power levels and that was on an SPI manifold designed to distribute the fuel best as possible, on your MPI manifold your going to get very poor distribution so your are 100% better of sticking to low boost/low power but it'll work fine.
be great to see it all when its done, youll have to come to a rolling road day with us too
also one more question.....what boost are you planning to run if it is stock C/R and 5th injector setup???
thanks
Jason
Re: My Polo 6n2
yeah running same compression ratio, gunna only be running 3-4 psi cos i want the car to stay reliable.

Re: My Polo 6n2
Nice looking car, nice looking manifold as well!
5th injector should be ok at low power.
Hey Jay remember SPI turbo centos used to always run lean on no.4 cyl because of the poor SPI + extra injector, the manifold must have been crap!
Hope this one is ok. You'd be better doing an extra injector rail and 8 injector setup, but even better still, bigger injectors and a proper ECU sorry im starting to sound like a broken record

best way it'll be great at that too
Zachoo wrote:you managed to run 15 psi at stock C/R?
No, was running an excessively low 7.5:1 C/R when i ran 15psi, although i once managed 116bhp and 113lb/sf running 10psi of boost on a near stock 9.5:1 C/R using super unleaded and an intercooler
It was setup at Nobles that way although it started to DET very mildly at 12psi or over.
thanks
Jason
Re: My Polo 6n2
ill just be happy with about 100bhp tbh just have to see what 4 psi does.
