well danny (vdubber_polo) his motor is my bit of inspiration for this so hopefully will look half as good as his one day,
which polo do you mean ry? the new new one that looks like the mk6 golf, or the one with the circular part in the rear lights

Re: 9N Polo GT TDI
ok finally got round to getting the notch painted and on the car (it doesnt look right cos of the shape of it, makes the colour look wrong but you can see its bang on on the rear badge), and also done the rear badge how i wanted.. well it was gonna be a matte black with colour coded back but seeing as i had some vinyl spare,
needs a fookin wash though, i'll have to kick our lasses arse to do it this weekend, mind you mine needs doin too, anyway hope you like (i dont its still got an arch gap haha)

Re: 9N Polo GT TDI
sweet
i hate that VW put that stupid little cut out bit on the bonnet around the badge.
whats wrong with moving the badge down or making it smaller

Re: 9N Polo GT TDI
i know mate it is a bit crap, but im too tight to have the bonnet done properly and also if i change my ming and go back to having the badge on but wrapped in black i can (like i have on mine actually)
but yeah cheers guys, i think i enjoy the car more than the missus but i think shes starting to get into the modding a little bit,
she wants a shark fin aerial like mine, and she said if she had a bit of money she'd want me to choose bits to do so it looked nicer (coilys and spacers first in the looks department)

Re: 9N Polo GT TDI
oh i so know what you mean its better to leave it than have it welded, but i am sure VW designed it (knowing that it would be big amoungst modifyers) just to p**s people off lol
yeah totally agree coilys spacers and a nice set of 16inch steelies lol oh and a chequered roof lol IMO anyway lol

Re: 9N Polo GT TDI
nah the only way id rid the passat at this moment is to get a diesel one which defies the point if i move out with our lass as id use hers for economy runs
cool little motor in general, just gotta sort out all the creaks in the dash when driving (my cars 4 years older and just feels a lot better and a lot quieter inside) but thats just on thew to-do list and doesnt really bother me that much cos i dont drive it every day, seems strange though cos dsw88s is a year older and done over twice he milage and other than the gauge pod we put in (not screwed down) it doesnt have half the creaks and sh!t that this has, ahh well

Re: 9N Polo GT TDI
