Re: My Polo
its alright on the steels i can slam it and it dosent catch at all not even on tubs yesterday and it feels alot better to drive i think those wheels where too big for the car
Re: My Polo
Agreed and they used to hold rocks in the treads of the other tyres

Re: My Polo
The shed still keeps going lol
had some major floor action today my exhaust looks like it took a good wack have to wait and see today if i hit anything else
its getting raised up now I sick of the slow driving and constant worrying about potholes.
Hmm might go for a diffrent style

Re: My Polo
It's not a shed probably best to higher it up you don't want to damage the underneath hmm different style what you got planned 4x4 stance

Re: My Polo
actually i was thinking of a more rally look to it
I no that the in thing is to drop VW's on the floor but i fancy a change
plus people do use the 6n2 for rallying so its not completely stupid

Re: My Polo
Good choice as you don't see many rally look ones there all sat on floor usually it's good to be different and unique ill start stripping it out tomorrow at work then

Re: My Polo
ive always loved small cars with the rally look when done right, id still really love to do a Cinq rally car with a proper fog light pod on the bonnet, white rally wheels, big mud flaps etc awsome look......has to be nice and loud aswell haha
thanks
Jason

Re: My Polo
Right best look for some Mudflaps and pod headlights
also will have to get a good backfiring exhaust

Re: My Polo
hehe thats would be awsome!!! rally slag!
you know its just reminded me, i once had a fast ford mag that featured a 1.4 16v fezz, it was stripped out with a cage, rally look, nice suspension setup, and basic mods to the engine to boost the power upto about 90bhp and it went round a track a few seconds quicker than a Focus ST!!, just shows you, light weight well setup suspension and a few engine mods go a long way and it was aimed at the rally scene
thanks

Re: My Polo
STRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
paint ways too much lol strip the paint and have rusty wheels lol
my mate rally styled his mk1 clio and it was mental even when it was a 1.2 but he dropper the rsi lump in it and then even my 240bhp gen 4 lude struggled to keep up lol
the thing is with rally style you end up sitting in the car wondering "what can i live with-out" i know lads that have even gone to the lenghs of fitting smaller gauge wire to try and save every lb lol, in the first fto i removerd 6kgs of wiring that wasn't needed to make the engine work, it all depends how far you want to go to make it a quick car or do you just want it to look good??
