Water/Methonal injection on the ST

Hello everyone.

After seeing and hearing the results off jason's water injection on the cinq ive decided to give it serious thought on the ST, Its got the decat, the airfilter, the EGR blanked and the remap so the engine is ready for some apparently much needed extra air cooling! with the large amount off boost diesels run it seems to make sense for reliability and power..........any thoughts?????

its running around 200bhp/345-350lb/sf of torque and the turbo and injectors are apparently capable off no more than around 215-220bhp.

Seen as its me that's give dad the idea i think its a really good idea haha.

with the remap the boost is around 1.7bar on a relativity small turbo, the standard intercooler is the same as fitted to the Focus ST which runs around 0.8-1 bar standard.....and as a standard car the ST focus is said to be under cooled with that cooler and suffers from heat soak over repeated power runs,so its either a bigger cooler (the made to fit item is a little more than the water kit) or the water methanol kit.

A friend off mine is in the process off fitting it to hdi 1.6 pug and danny on this forum tells me a friend fitted the kit to a polo tdi and managed to get it to 244bhp!

should be perfect although it should be mapped again after, a focus st ran water injection in a mag i have and gained 26bhp but caused a lean mixture from the midrange upwards (Although the engine was safe by the very existence off the kit) and required a remap which resulted in another power hike of around 5hp. im thinking off taking mine back to the rollers when the BOB and downpipe are done to get the fueling checked/tweaked.
