MY 1250 ABARTH TURBO CINQUECENTO
hi, my car is a 1250cc heavily modded turbo cinq running MPI on a large Hyrid turbo and water injection,i planned and built this up myself on a bespoke spec! here is the current spec list
engine modifications
Fiat Punto 1242cc bottom end
Ferriday Engineering 1.5mm decompression plate
8.5:1 compression ratio
Aquamist water/methanol injection with medium jet
Punto 75 cylinder head powder coated red
Ported and polished inlet ports
Punto 75 866 higher lift camshaft
Piper adjustable camshaft pulley
Payen head gakset (1.6mm)
Payen head bolts
Thermostat removed
Punto 75 MPI inlet manifold
4 x Volvo 850 2.5 on boost injectors
Ford RS2000 5 bar fuel pump
FSE power boost valve adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Tricker 40mm throttle body with coolant bypassed
Tricker 40mm throttle body-too-maniolfd adaptor plate
Modified Vanaaken inlet plenum with 2" inlet pipe
Idle valve removed
Garrett GT1752 Hybrid turbo (0.47 turbine a/r - 0.53 compressor a/r)
Total seal turbine oil seals
Braided oil deef line with Ford oil return
Saab 2.5" down pipe modified for 2" exhaust
Alloy front mounted intercooler
Home made intercooler mist spray kit
Custom centre exit decat 2" exhaust system turbo back
HKS externaly mounted mushroom air filter
Aquamist mf2 mappable injector driver for on boost fueling
TurboSmart adjustable fuel cut defender
Greddy Profec-b Spec-2 electronic three stage boost controller
Greddy turbo timer and full auto timer
2" mandral bend boost pipes with silicone connectors
Atmospheric dump valve
Intercooler charge temp monitor and data logger system
Mocal 10 row oil cooler
Mocal thermostatic sandwhich plate
J and S Ultrasafe gaurd individual cylinder knock control system
Bosh knock sensor
MS knock sensce kit with warning LED
Champion EON1 cool grade spark plugs
Splitfire 8.5mm fast road H/T leads
Set up to run on 97octane super unleaded fuel
10psi low boost (spikes to 11psi)
14psi high boost(spikes to 15psi)
Silicone vacume hoses and some coolant pipes
Alloy oil catch/seperato tank with silicone pipes
Oil catch tank breather filter
Chrome cam cover
O.E SPI unit mounted onto MPI manifold for a unique spi off boost MPI on boost setup to ratain the o.e ecu

BHP............ 156.2bhp @ 6534 rpm @ 14psi boost
Torque....... 145.4lb/sf of torque @ 4644 rpm
With water methanol injection on) -
BHP.......... 165bhp
torque...... 155lb/sf of torque
setup will run around 190bhp-200bhp @ 20psi and upto and over 210hp at over 20psi off boost!![/b]

love this motor mate, so much so i wanted to beat up that guy in the corsa on crystal peaks for thinkin it had an electric dump valve

the time will come tom, although from past exsperience ill get to the end of the road with you in the passanger seat and it will blow up! Your iching to now what 135lb/sf of torque feels like in a 735kg car arnt you hehe, BMW 330d eat my dust.

new bits
Hi everyone, here are my latest additions to the list from this week -
257mm 16 groove aftermarket punto gt turbo discs and new pads
punto 75 manifold with MPI (multipoint injection),,,,,this will be fitted with my SPI setup so that the O.E injector takes care of fueling off boost and then the 4 direct injectors will take over on boost for better more accurate fueling!
and im now the proud owner of a fiat with a hand brake that actually works!!!! thanks to new shoes cables and cylinders hehe.

Aaaahhh well you see us top fiat boys now at little trick that involves a simple spot weld making the handbrake perfect to the day there is now lining left on the shoes
