UPDATE

Thought I would let you in on the slight changes we have been doing to our Cinq!!!!!

This picture was taken on the 7th April:
Started stripping the dash to find a mass on wires!!!



This picture was taken on the 25th April:
After a lot of head scratching and cardboard cut outs we decided on the design



These were taken today!!!





It has been a slow process, but now all the wiring and fabrication is out the way.

We can now consentrate on the finishing touch's (Paint and Suede covering for the dash)

all i can say is wow, i love this, hmmmmmm think i might do this to my sei instead of fitting a cinq dash

That looks great nice and light weight something else they should have done in the factory go and work for Fiat

Yeah it is light weight.

All aluminium dash and mounting bar only weigh 4kg

Couldn't work for Fiat. Would want to break all the regulations

Booked in for an MOT on Saturday so can't say what it is like now it is stripped out.

Took some late nights and head scratching but we are pleased with the finished look.

I have to be honest but you are really giving me insperation for my wee little sei, project toy me thinks.

I could post more pictures but don't want to get you excited too much!!!

Yes this is the fastest Cinq Turbo cake ever it went from my mouth to my stomach in under 3 secs!!!!!

But not all in one go!!!!!!

But on a serious note, I have got some more picture's of its big brother coming shortly.

Yeah as I am going to turn my sei into a track only car so ideas would be good lol thinking of building a similar dash to what you have built but more over the steering coloum. Was it hard to modify the wiring???

As for the wiring it was alot of cutting, splicing, extending and removal of unwanted wires.

So was it Hard? NO. Time Consuming? YES

will do cause i think i will make a start on ripping lots and lots of bits out next week as my lass's brother is coming up for a while so extra hands yey, how expensive was the ali you used?? and what did you cover it with??

Don't know how much the ali was as it was FREE

Went to a local fabric store. Price depends on the look you want.

We managed to do the dash conversion for a grand total of £20.

Lol well I have a local scrap dealer I am friendly with lol.

The Cinq is looking awesome Lou!! good to see you continuing with it hows the engine and turbo setup running these days??

Dragged mine out of hibernation last weekend !! been asleep for over a year, filled the tank up and cleaned and polished it ready to mess about putting it back on the road

All the weight loss and the exhaust have really helped its performance!!!

It has been a while indeed its my fault ive been a lazy bugger haha, had alot of recently you well??

Sounds awesome anyway and i will definitely be getting the little monster back on the road for sure, i cant go on with out that little bugger! haha. missing the character and the rapid acceleration !!
