got a few little bits to do to get the monster ready for "forum meet round two" Smile

firstly my dump valve and the vac pipes that operate it!!!, as Ricky will no on the way back yesterday and the odd time on the way there the dump valve kept sticking shut and then holding slightly open!, i was seeing anywhere between 3 and 8 psi boost in low boost (although it has to be said Ricky's car is s##t hot with the new cooler on he managed to stay on my trail with the cinq running 8psi and the cinq still felt pretty rapid!! Smile )...but anyway i found out it is a contaminated vac pipe that keeps collapsing onto a metal pipe so it holds the dump valve open very slightly leaking boost!

i need some pipe that doesn't get eaten by fuel vapour!!

and secondly i need to sort my rust hole out!! Smile i could have brought my pet goldfish with me yesterday because the hole allowed my rear foot well to fill up with lovely mucky water haha...not good!!
And lastly tyres!!! my inner edge has gone...no tread!! thanks to 5 degree's on neg camber Sad i have some part worn T1-R's to stick on! Smile

Cant wait for the next run out guys it was great to blow the dust of the cinq and give it a good blast!!! after all thats what i built it for!! lol and i was happy that it ran great all day forgetting the vac pipe Smile happy chappy

glad you found it mate, i think you were just tricking me into thinking i could keep up, even though i knew you werent running much boost haha, what diameter hose does it need to be?

haha, thing is even if you'd have kept up at 10psi and i wanted to do something about it i couldn't because the Greddy doest allow you to change to high boost while actually on boost so thats a down side to the Profec 2 lol, spose it leaves a suprise for people when they try the second time and its in high boost though

the hose is 8mm external diameter but internal is supposed to be smaller than whats on, might use some leak of hose that should be perfect.

i was gonna suggest leak off hose, obviously its used to diesel though and not petrol but it should last longer than standard vac hose
