the cinquecento ecu's are coded to a small black box under the dash and key which if they dont match the immobiser is not disengaged thus wont start, unless its a de-coded chip which means it by-passes the immobiliser but never mind all that there is no chip that you can by for these engines that will give a 20-25bhp boost (bare in mind stock they run 54bhp) on the market cos i really looked into it when i ran an 1108, cannon fodder ignor it lol

there was a chip available for the spi set-up by a bloke called mkcritch on the fiat forum which did give good noticable gains on the road but it only saw figures in crease by 5-8bhp on a set-up with full exhaust, induction kit and an 866 cam, on a stock set-up it gained 3-5bhp
