My Fiat Punto 60!
ok visited the rolling road with my 1996 1.2 8v SPI punto!
mods - restrictive air filter removed on stock air box for good cool air feed.
bhp............... 71.1 @ 6368 rpm @ 98mph in fourth gear
torque.......... 69.2lb/sf @ 4109 rpm
11.1bhp up over stock here very happy i could always tell this engine was a good one and it felt loads better since removing the air filter and fitting a new lambda! result

Re: My Fiat Punto 60!
be nice if it had lol, i think its the usual case off a good free flowing cool air intake system combined with a good solid low mileage engine with good oil, a new lambda and good compression etc. Torque was about standard for a 60 though but hey im not complaining hehe

Re: My Fiat Punto 60!
be interesting to time the Punto again with the new induction kit, H/T leads and plugs seen as i discovered the plugs that were in were totally buggered and the coil packs were going down!, see if there is much of a difference.
And then again with the nitrous on, see what the extra BHP can do to the times in the real world
Thanks
Jason

Re: My Fiat Punto 60!
lol yeah its a pretty cool little bugger, i like it it does go bloody well when the mood takes it and ive never driven a 60 as good. And of course those little Michellin s are the bee's knee's hehe they impress me, 165's and soft soggy suspension shouldn't grip that well!!!!
thanks
Jason
