THE BIG MMF "GUMBALL RALLY" idea - please read on........

Hello to all members.

I've decided to present an idea for a modifiedmonsters 2 night weekend trip (A kind off MMF Gumball Rally) out at a later date to to the Buttertubs trip out, the date will be decided when there are enough people interested and to suit everyone, but it will be a couple off months away at a guess for now so get your name down and get it in the diary so you don't forget !!

Anyway here is the rough plan for the big trip out!

3 target destination 1. A good Scottish driving road. 2. the Lake district. 3. Buttertubs pass

Starting on a Friday night after work is the favoured start day.
We meet up as and where decided, drive till we decide to stop for sleep (as far as possible) and set-up camp/hotel.
Then early Saturday morning we set off....the target destination is a place ive wanted to drive to for some time and that would be Scotland....a good Scottish driving road (suggestions welcome) and then we head down towards the lake district that day where we settle down for the night most likely camping.
On the Sunday we head out of the lake district and the route home will be spiced up by aiming to drive back on the Buttertubs pass.

This will be a rather large road trip as the mileage and driving time here is going to high! but as a driving enthusiast its something that is appealing to me. so before you get your name down have a think about it, ive wanted to do a big road trip like this for some time, we are talking 3 main destination set waaay apart with nothing but driving in between and then the night time banter around the BBQ iff all goes to plan!

like i say this is a plan and nothing set in stone so suggestions/questions and general interest welcome here lets see if we can get the big MMF "Gumball rally" organised. We can try and make this work for anyone who fancy s coming along and the more the better here!

Sounds like a good plan and to get everyone together and get to no people on this forum and see some of the great examples of peoples cars.

After defeating france in the might polo my fear of long distance driving has gone and would be so up this kind of trip

Count me in cos its something i have always wanted todo and i think a group pic at lockness would be amazing lol summers coming up my votes in for a camping trip lol
