A key design feature of any turbo system is the size of the exhaust housing.The Larger the size, the higher the flow, the more power it wil develop.But too big and you sacrifice low down power and get the dreaded lag.
This Unique Design will give huge performance that has never been seen before on the Focus RS Certainly into the 500bhp range with correct fueling and mapping.(don't forget engine internals !! )
The game has just moved up into sixth gear.
The new twin scroll manifold system lifts the bar to never seen before heights.This system was designed the generate boost as early as possible utilizing the twin entry twin scroll design seen on many factory spec EVO's .It uses the larger T3 flange arrangment to move power up and beyond 500 bhp.The screemer pipes are positioned for drag use but can be adapted to suit road applications were clearance from radiator/fans is paramount.
