Hi guys!

After talking with jay ive decided to go for the low boost 95-105bhp 100lb/sf conversion on the punto!

Ive had all the ins and outs exspalined to me by jay so this is what im going for.

I have bought an IHI turbo and intercooler from jason, im not sure of the model number but its from an astra low blow diesel and its an equivalent to the T15 from garrett so it ideal for a low boost conversion.
The reason why i decided not to go high boost is because the draw backs and exspence of going high boost on SPI have been made clear and for a nice drivable torqy conversion the low boost is ideal.

Im am going to use jasons MF2 to drive a cosworth second injector for additional fueling, jay also has an origonal vanaaken fuel cut defender to go with the kit.
Im getting ther manifold adapted to the new IHI and then the turbo is going off to midland turbos for a recon!

Here are some pics!! - the intercooler is small but the low boost kits dont use a cooler so a smal cooler is far far better than no cooler at all and it will help with the power and reliability Very Happy

The A/R info by the way is as follows - turbine housing 0.35 a/r - compressor housing 0.35, slightly bigger than my low blow GT15, and i believe its the same as the T15 454.......

Ive told him he will want to go high boost lol,power is to addictive and turbo's open up a new world off power figures haha

we will see how this turns out and see what he can get from a nice well thought out setup Very Happy

i know i wud probs want more power after a couple of weeks lol! but i think when its done i will enjoy the low boost for a while. See how much bhp i get when its all done! i think i will also go for 40mm throttle body and definitely get a punto 75 cam Very Happy

oh yeah forgot about that lol! well got the dump valve today and its lookin mint. Looking for a punto spoiler
at the min and looking for the next part for the turbo Smile

I think the next thing is to to see about having a BOB made up for the top off the throttle body, need to find somebody who will make one up form alluminium for cheapish with an injector boss for the second injecotor (which i have).
