M.O.T guys said my bk brakes weren't in a good condition and ive wanted to change those horrid discs for a while anyway so i bought some ebc rear discs and red stuff pads other day managed to get them on this morning in work time haha! heres some pics!






These are my old discs :S what a let down i am leaving it this long really



There was a noticeable 3 grooves right round the inside of the disc hidden away from me seeing it ;s



Just the fronts to do next! i want some beefy AP racing ones they look awesome!

Looks good with the new brakes are the pads for track days are they any good i had them on my Saxo all round with the green stuff pads.

looks well mate they will look loads better once the rust gets in the holes highlighting them more. where they cheap? i notice the holes dont go right through lol...also i have a good feeling you have managed to put the discs on the wrong way hehe..rotors are designed to throw air outwards naturally and if they are wrong then they have a chance of overheating under hard use.

This is a picture off the drivers side off the car so you can work it out mate

Both your drivers side wheels should look like this and the passenger side wheels will have the discs the opposite way around mate then you can be assured the grooves are doing what they where intended to do

aye the discs were cheap 130 for both with grooves and pathetic attempt at at drilling lol. the stock ones were 80 quid each -.-. Apparently the red stuff is for fast street use so ill use them for everything and ill swap those discs over tomorrow hahaha had a good chuckle this morning when i walked out and had a look at it its so obvious lol. also im going to take out my secondary air pump coz it does my head in upon startup and isnt rly needed as i dont have a cat!

Easy mistake they are good brakes they seem to be popular my pads caused a lot of brake dust which is normal what do you mean when you say airpump

its this oxygen pump that pumps air into my manifold upon startup to aid combustion to heat my cat up faster, for emissions really.

Get you now i think the other reason is to warm it up quick to save a bit on fuel bet you won't notice much difference when it's removed
