Liking the strut brace and the twin 4" exhausts will sound amazin nice to see someone modifying a RX-8

took today off to get it done gettin it fit in bout 1 hour i cnt wait lol.

How does the exhaust sound Adam are you happy with it

Nice n silent on tickover n low revs but when u floor it it sounds savage!! Luv it I finish at 4 gonna get a vid up

Some new updated pics of the mighty 8! painted calipers and back drums moved licence plate, fitted carbon fibre fender strakes, installed scangague II (best thing ever!).

Nice mods there Adam liking the callipers in that colour and looks loads better with the smaller number plate

I did enjoy the dam thanks m8

Recently having hot start problems with my 8 noticed it mainly travelling to hull on way to the dam. From cold it starts almost instantly but when hot it takes a good 3-4 seconds and is worrying. Ive been told this can be down to coils (stock can wear away after 30k miles, mines done 45k) also the spark plugs not giving a hot enough spark ect. so ive decided to spend over £300 ((( on the whole lot replacing coils with uprated ones new hotter plugs (£25 EACH wtf!) and some magnecor HT 8.5mm HT leads. Hopefully this will sort out my problem and gimme some Horses back that may have escaped !

Hope it sorts out the problem and get the beast back to its old self

unlucky mate, could be the coils but id be inclined to check the coolant temp sensor as this is a common problem for hot or cold start problems

ive changed all the leads plugs and coils now its made a difference in driving and no hot start problems!! woo hoo plus it seems to pull a little better and my mpg seems to have gone up according to the scangauge. money well spent eh

Good glad it's all sorted what is the average MPG on your car.

average? really?????

i know they are bad (my cousin has a 230 in black like yours) but he still gets an average of about 18mpg and he never hangs about.
