Little update one of my FK rear shock absorber has decided to start leaking there only 4 month old and not even covered 1000 miles so im getting that sorted under warranty and iv'e decided im getting a set of Cat cams then to follow them a set of Jenvey throttle bodies when i have saved the money up which could be a while but we shall see

Re: Citroen C2 VTS
As some of you know iv'e been thinking of running cams and throttle bodies but there has been quite a few draw backs with it been a new car with stupid fly by wire i would need a C2 1.1 / Saxo VTS throttle cable C2 1.1 pedal box different ECU because it doesn't remember it's been remaped after a few weeks the cams i looked at were Newman PH3's the PH1's run with standard ECU maped but for the same price not worth wasting the money on them as i won't gain much.

Re: Citroen C2 VTS
The ECU's arn't the best to remap so iv'e read and yes that's the only way was thinking Standalone engine management i have all the money to do it but just can't come to terms with parting with all that money anyone want to buy anything for me

erm... Megasquirt and Apex'i PowerFC's arent piggyback, they are standalone units... piggybacks like unichip or e-manage are gashtastic though, if you do anything you'd have to do the same as what i did with the punto: modify for cable throttle, and run a standalone alongside the original.
But you'd want ITBs at the very least, to make it worthwhile!
Or... is there no-one that has written a programmable chip for the stock ECU? Like for example the way K-tec write chips for Renaults to make em fully mappable...

Re: Citroen C2 VTS
Engine swap it's the best out of the C2 range and it's low mileage so not worth it thanks for the information Munkul i get what you mean iv'e had a good look into it and i can't find any where anything about a programable chip for my stock ecu i might stick to cosmetic changes on the car less hassle

Re: Citroen C2 VTS
So much haha iv'e still got vernier pulleys, cambelt kit, cam oil seals engine management to sort out when it's running there a rough cam but they have good results and they work well in Saxo VTS and C2 VTS engines alot better than cat, piper, kent cam shafts

Not bothering with the ITB's there over £1000 to buy then extra things such as high compression pistons, bigger exhausts valves port and polished head and uprated valve springs which i should run with these cams but only if it see's 6500rpm to 7000rpm on a regular basis and with it only having 26000 on clock i don't want to be taking the head off yet plus it'll be even more expense there are people running these cams with standard springs, flyby wire throttle and standard engine management and getting good results
