Re: Honda Odyssey
Cheers. I love it. Found out its been slammed by more than 60mm it has to be on coilies but will have a look in the morning. Some lads in America run these with 20's on lol and no arch work. I have 17's and they clear by a country mile lol

Re: Honda Odyssey
well today was a total desaster, i went up to my friends garage to get the exhaust welded so it not longer blows, great got that bit sorted but on my way home at around 50mph my drivers side bottom ball joint desided it no longer wanted to do its job and snapped, i managed to keep control of the car and bring it to a controlled stop but in doing so the wheel has come up into the arch and has trashed the wing big time.
out comes the mobile to ring the AA and 2hrs later they turn up and the real fun starts, how do you get a slammed people carrier with a body kit onto the back of a low loader??? one disclaimer later and the car is on with no damage, came to get it off at the other end and the exhaust caught on the ground when it came off, the tip now sits 3inchs forward so thats bent and needs replacing and the wing got even more bent
list of new parts needed
bottom wishbone (ball joint is built into it)
2 front tyres
new wing
rebuild the now damaged exhaust
i will post pics up later for thous that dont have my facebook

Re: Honda Odyssey
Could have been alot worse you was lucky to control it without smashing it in to something shouldn't cost too much to get it sorted though

Re: Honda Odyssey
£10.18 to repair and all is good with the world apart from the tyre is totally trashed. It was almost illegal anyway but now its got a bleb in the wall and a slash that's half way through the canvers so will have to get the two tyres I needed abit sooner than I was hoping. The wing is almost straightened out so I am happy lol

Re: Honda Odyssey
well all going to plan with luck the car will be back on the road today, with a new set of boots on the front thanks to the royal bank of mum, so all in all 2 tyres and a ball joint oh and a new gaiter for the drive shaft all is well with the might honda again. going to have to roll the wing abit as it got a little bent but all in all it could have been alot more expensive really lol

Re: Honda Odyssey
well been driving it around all day yesterday and i think its actually better than before lol, drives smooth as a nut but the only small problem i have is i think the balance timing is out a little as there is a little knocking on the engine on hard acceleration, need to get that sorted asap i think

Re: Honda Odyssey
Got any pics of the inside?
I might have to consider a 7 seater because I love cars with lots of space and at partys I'm always the designated driver..

Re: Honda Odyssey
I will warn you that its very very unlikely you will get one of these in your country. They were mainly offered in the USA, south America and Australia/New Zealand. Mine as I have found is a New Zealand import via Japan. It turns out it was imported to Japan at 1 year old in 1996, and they sent here in 2007. Very very rare over here so I would imagine even more rare in Holland lol.

Re: Honda Odyssey
right update, this car is s**t, its not the balance belt out of time, it is infact a big end gone, f**k**g great. that's parts needed from japan or a new engine, i will inform you as to which soon but if it needs an engine i will convert it from f22b (non V-Tec) to H22a (V-Tec and 200bhp)

Re: Honda Odyssey
well h22 is out the window as its too involved but a h23 (non V-Tec but still 180bhp) is almost bolt for bolt swap just need to change 1 mount

Re: Honda Odyssey
It's still a nice looking car, I might consider a Chrysler Grand Voyager or a VW Sharan

Re: Honda Odyssey
I actually like thous wheels lol colour ain't bad either. My other issue which is purely cosmetic is I need two front wings and can't find second hand ones and the body place near me can't get them. May have to seen about getting these ones beaten out.
