The buttertubs pass is situated in the amazing North Yorkshire Dales near Thwaite, the road is around 3 miles long and is one of the most demanding roads in England. You dont have to go fast on this road to get a thrill,,,you get a little adrenalin jus walking on the thing!!
Right from the word go thid road is full of tight turns, pitches and dives and steap climbs followed by declines on 180 degree corners!
when paying this road a visit its worth making sure you have checked the weather forcast because it can turn into a fog field in mins, making driving next the 300ft slope and drop nerve racking,,,,,,but aleast there are some hose pipes to you and your ton of car or more on the road.

Well worth a visit if you like twisty roads that demand 100% concentration.
