Multicar owner!
Mario has pointed me in this direction so I thought I would introduce my self!
Cars I own at current:
Fiat Seicento 1.1 (building for a introduction to track events)
Fiat Panda mk1 4x4 1984 mk1
Fiat 500 (new shape)
Jag xj8 3.2 sport
past cars
Fiat coupe 20vt
Fiat coupe 16vt
Fiat Coupe 20v n/a
Celica gt4 185 shape
mr2 n/a mk3
mr2 n/a mk2
mr2 n/a mk1
Celica 205 GT
ma70 Supra n/a
passat vr6
bravo HGT 155
bravo HLX 1.8
The list goes on, but I thought they were of note!
I have nothing of epic power at the moment, the jag is for work and the sci is for the track, I plan to move to a xjr and drop something with a turbo in to a sci next season
About me, im 27 and work for my self, I clear enough to cover my petrol head addiction! I love meets, car shows ect so hope to meet every one at some point
Cheers,
Sam

Fiat!
I do love my Fiats, the Coupe is a VERY quick car
That was my old coupe but it had to go, VERY bad on fuel and impractical for work and my local roads, It was running 250bhp with just a remap
The jag
I do love the jag, and to be fair the thing just works!

Im really liking your Jag i like the Fiat Coupe but just don't like how long it takes to change cambelts because the engine has to be dropped out.

Re: Multicar owner!
Missconseption number 1 there Ryan
Its about 3-4 hour's work. The engine mountings can be undone on the drivers side and the hole unit shifted across about 2-3 inches (while supported)
If you get all the belts done at the same time your looking at about £450 parts and labour.
It is still a pig of a job though, and not one that you would be wise to put of or skimp on parts.
The jag is a class motor, its very different and just a nice chilled place to be. its smooth and refined where as the coupe was insane and would make you feel very tired after a long drive.
I do miss the 5pot turbo noise the v8 doesn't even come close

I too discovered the engine doesnt need to come out for the cambelt this year after doing it myself! made the job alot less daunting that way haha

Re: Multicar owner!
Bandit or something like that shape, anything over 600cc I thought I would get more enjoyment out of the Sci than I have.
Memory is a funny old thing! or maybe I have changed since I last owned one.
I have put it up for sale with 12months mot and 6 months tax on PH @ £400
