The New Pumaspeed 385 Power Kit has the full list of TOP Quality Bolt ons that shouts quality first when Tuning the new 2009 Focus Mk2 .
Fully tried and dyno tested on Pumaspeeds own Demo car.
What is the difference to the 365 bhp kit ?
Its very simple Pumaspeed swap out the K&N cone filter and add the hugely impressive ITG Maxogen CAIS.
They swap out the Phase 2 map and use There own in house phase 3 Euro spec big injector map.
They remove the existing std Ford 500cc injectors and replace them with the 450bhp capable 600cc high power injectors.
The above additions give Huge torque and power gains,on average 380 bhp and 560nm have been seen in testing on a car with 15000km on the speedo.
What is the next step after the 380 kit ?
Pumaspeed suggest a slightly higher boost level to deliver a full 400 bhp.This will max out the standard Turbocharger.
What is the next step after the 400 kit ?
There is still more available from the Focus RS Mk2 , testing has determined the standard Ford turbocharger is running out of safe capacity.
Pumaspeed advise the Hybrid turbocharger as the next level to this kit,it will retain all the reliability of the standard vehicle and will require very little maintainance.The larger capacity GT specification kit we would advise for more motorsport usage although a power output of over 450 can be acheived very easily
