Re: Are Nova's dead and gone ?
The Nova is ok but there are to many that are badly modified and they look really out dated up against the modern cars because every panel is square and pointy.

Re: Are Nova's dead and gone ?
they get all the bad press for being the maxers choice really which has ruined the image but i still think an original gte done properly can look hard as nails, fits in to the retro look of r5's and 205 gti's
and i dont even like em haha

I prefer the 205's for the retro look, james used to have a minter 205 you got any pics of it harben show them the beast. Its was the best when we had five people in it and it was scrapin along the floor 5 people in 205 is quite tricky especially when it only had 2 Trucking SEATS the MDF boot build was quite comfortable though lol good times

Re: Are Nova's dead and gone ?
I love the old Nova's, especially when they are done up subtle and immaculate, but then I'm an old skool kind of guy. Old Lancia Delta, Escort RS Cosworth, Skyline R32, Mitsubishi GTO, those are my kind of cars. Would love a fully restored original Escort Mk1/2, think they are the dogs danglies when presented in perfect condition.
Nova's got a real bad rep because they were the car of choice in their day, and with so many being 'pimped' the truly awful examples really out numbered the one that showed what the Nova truly was, an amazing hot hatch for its day.
