BMW Gran Coupe Concept

The Gran Coupe Concept was shown at the recent Beijing Motor Show and it's BMW answer to the Mercedes CLS and the upcoming Audi A7. It will become the new 8 Series model in 2012. It's particularly imposing from the front featuring an even sharper execution of BMW's Kidney grill and slanted LED headlights and a deep front spoiler. The long body and steep sloping coupe roof make the car far more dramatic than the 7 Series and BMW say the front and rear styling will feature on all there future models. If the Gran Coupe is the pinnacle of BMW they are planning an even more important new electric city car for 2013 Known as the Megacity it will have a range of 160 miles. And it could be perfect timing as by 2013 the UK and Europe should have a genuine network or re-charging points across cities. The latest and new models are perfect examples of why BMW have just overtaken Toyota as the Most Valuable Car Brand in the world worth an amazing £18.97 billion.
