NOBLES ON MONDAY!!
The day has come
The cinq is booked in for Nobles on monday for a full set up on the new MPI/SPI (75 engine) and Garrett GT1752/GT15 turbo to see what the new setup can do!
Im limited on power output using the stock 175-185cc injectors to the tune off around 145-155bhp ish but thats not a bad thing! i imagine a 700kg stripped out cinq with 14" wheels and 140bhp is going to be a serious tool!!
But im considering fitting a bigger set of injectors for the rolling road day, my main fear is that running 15psi on the GT17 might take the injectors past there limit.........it would just be nice nice if they turned round and said at 15psi your making 170bhp for example but set the boost at a level where it will make my desired 140-150bhp.
Anyway a few tweaks and checks to be made and off she goes for the day to spend a few hours on the rollers for abuse.

Nobles
Just had a trip upto Nobles with matt to make sure main gates are going to be open all night and to make sure the cinq is ok for the last time before the rollers!
Made a few more mods for the big day to! - ive removed the small and clogged up mesh cone filter from the front of the car (which was only rated to about 120bhp anyway!) and ive replaced it with a large foam HKS mushroom filter in green, again mounted on the front of the car for best cool air feed etc and this filter will flow well over 300bhp so im ok.
Also ive chicken'd out with the standard punto 75 injecotors as i was scared they wouldnt be upto the job off fueling the turbo if relied on to do it vertually indipendant, i found a post on the Fiat forum saying that the standard 75 injecotrs are only 143cc so there good for 100bhp on there own running at a high duty cycle ,combined with my spi injecotor that gives around 150bhpish but 50bhp's worth of fuel would be from the spi injecotor running a slightly higher than standard fuel pressure and idealy i need to allow the spi injecotor to do as little as possible to get the best from the MPI setup!
So ive fitted four Volvo 850 2.0l 10v (yellow injecotors) which ran at 110bhp on the volvo so they will flow alot more running a higher duty cycle and higher fuel pressure etc so i shouldnt really have a fuel supply issue here.
Ive also changed the oil and filter seen as i only changed it 3 weeks ago
let you all no how i go on tomorow after work
thanks
