The mid-engined GTO is actually the forefather of the classic F40, but this 1980's supercar has earned it's rightful place in the history books because it's body was manufactured from composite materials such as carbon fibre-making it one of the very few cars to feature such racedeveloped technology. These lightweight materials coupled with a twin-turbo 2.8-litre V8 engine meant that the GTO was an extremely quick car with great handling.
