Elan Valley, Rhayader

Enjoyed the road in and around Elan Valley many times.
first on motorcycles then found it just as good in the cinq even full of passengers and luggage.

spent a day here checking out the dams then a long twisty hilly drive through old abandoned mining villages to Devils Bridge.

Wouldnt recormend it for larger cars but perfect for centos. (even more so ones hidding spinny blowy things under the bonnets )

Just watch the fuel gauge! I used a full tank and was running on vapors in the middle of nowhere)

nice, we look for new places to organise day trips out like this, looks good! and as for the fuel consumption your not kidding............the last visit to the buttertubs pass on a full tank left me sending mates to a petrol station with a jerry can

LOL i can remember when you had to get Jason a jerry can when we was rollin his car on to the flat but there wasn't enough even on the flat to start it up.
