Finally joined...

Hi guys,

Finally got round to joining. Here's my pride and joy, Impreza 2L Sport AWD, with Powerflow exhaust and Induction Kit, as well as a Turbo body kit and 17" rims. Got a bit of a cobbled together sound system consisting of a newly aquired Ripspeed DVD head unit, Fusion 12" Sub and a JBL amp. Here's quick pic taken on my mobile, when I was enjoying the heavy snow. Will takesome better ones for the gallery later.

I agree, i remember you getting the exhaust done at Hawleys few months back, sounded like a rally car haha.

And thats exactly why I bought it. Well that and the handling. I just wish I could afford to insure and run a turbo model

nice car mate whats it go like iv been told that there not quick at all when i was intrested in 1

Its the non-turbo model so not very rapid, power wise its about the same my 2L Mondeo. The big advantage is the AWD, even in the rain I can't seem to force it to wheel spin, it just takes off like a shot. Unless the road is bone dry it'll outdo most FWD cars off the mark, until they get traction down and pick up momentum.

It's most fun in the corners, its not a stiff as an STI so its still fairly comfortable, but handles really sharp around bends and you can feel what every wheel is doing through the pedals and steering wheel, so it gives you a lot of confidence. Drifting around in the snow at work was awesome fun too.

Can imagine how well it handles with it been AWD your lucky when the snow is here when the the snow came last on my road there were cars skidding all over the place and a Subaru Impreza just flew up the road like there wasn't even anything on the ground.

Ever considered fitting the early UK spec 215bhp 2.0 litre turbo engine? get us at gelders to fit it haha.
i once drove an impreza sport and i agree with the handling, very capable chassis and i surpose with the exhaust and airfilter (decat aswell??) its freed up a nice bit off power.
