Re: mario's project
well picked it up and got it home just now, unfortinatly the exhaust went on the way home so need to swap that out for a new one
not sure if i am going to turn it into a full on project or a do up and sell, the, main prob i have with it is the fact its the micro ecu type 1108 so engine swaps are a pain in the arse and expensive.
i bought this little jem for £200 due to a head gasket gone, or at least thats what the guy i bought it off though, its just a rocker cover gasket and a rusty sump, doesn't use water and there is no mixing so i will prob strip it and do a full gasket set anyway as its cheap and easy, then fit some new tires and maybe a cheap set of alloys and bam stick it up for sale lol

Re: mario's project
again you forgot the nitrometh lol just for that added drivability off boost, i wounder if an 8ft track would help handling too along with 18's on the rear and 13's on the front???

Re: mario's project
Do you not remember my cinq lol. I don't do bling or painting bits lol. It's performance over beauty everytime for me. Really don't see the point in wasting money on a pot of heat paint when I could put that money towards a set of lowering springs or a new exhaust lol

Re: mario's project
Think of a 4 seater go-kart lol. They are mint but because of small engines they struggle for top end but they get there solo fast lol

Haha some one on fiatforum has actually done it lol. They dropped a sei shell on Suzuki sj/vitara chassis and running gear. Looked sweet but a lot of work

Re: mario's project
well got the sump fitted and changed the oil filter and oil this morning and fitted the new battery, fired it up and sat with it running on the drive for 20mins, hmmmmm why is the rad still cold, thromstat is stuck i think so now need to go get a gasket kit so i can sort that outcos i know that when i take the thermostat off it will kill the gasket so going to get a kit next week and then do the lot including the HG, think i may do the timing belt and tensioner too.

cool, so this car is gonna look half tidy then, as opposed to the "lets chop holes in it" cinq
Nice base anyways. Lets hope you get a turbo on it at some point...
