MY POLO 9N3 GTI REPLICA
Hi there! Am a newbie to modified monsters but here goes!
This is my 05 1.2 polo. Completely standard when i bought it.
Once i got it home the fun began! list below is what ive done so far:
-17" GOLF GTI ALLOYS
-GTI GRILL
-GTI SIDE SKIRTS
-GTI BOOT BADGE
-TINTED WINDOWS
-BREMBO BRAKE CALIPER COVERS
-LED INTERIOR LIGHTS, SIDELIGHTS AND NUMBER PLATE LIGHTS
-ARMREST
Thats all so far. Thinking a GTI spoiler and getting it lowered should finish it off nicely. Any suggestions welcome
Thanks
Jake

looks good mate and welcome to the forum
slammed with a spoiler would look really cool, but i'd say in vest in some actual brembo's or at least some gti bigger brakes lol personally i think the fake covers look abit dit lol

Nicely done good job on the replica GTI you could have put it up as Polo GTI and we wouldn't be any wiser

Re: MY POLO 9N3 GTI REPLICA
hi mate, good to see youre going for an oem look with the mods, id agree with mario them brembo covers arent my cup of tea, but i also know that you have to do a hub conversion to get bigger brakes on yours which is a bit of a pain really just for bigger brakes
just to be a tease ive actually got a 9n3 gti spoiler to put on my missus' polo :-P but yeah good idea to get hold of one will help to finish it off with the lowering as you say,

Re: MY POLO 9N3 GTI REPLICA
Cheers for replies guys! Yeah i also think the brake covers don't look great but cant afford full brake upgrade at min. Does anyone know any good places in sheffield that do lowering? also what would be a good height to drop without scraping all the time. 88rsr about the gti spoiler. do they have a brake light on them? i want one without really as ive already got brake light at the top and dont want 2 ideally.
Re: MY POLO 9N3 GTI REPLICA
You would be better with coilovers as you can adjust at many heights to suite your look and driving style

Re: MY POLO 9N3 GTI REPLICA
you can get a good brand of budget coilovers like FK for about 200 quid mate and most decent garages should have no problem putting them on,
as for the spoiler the 9n3 gti seems to have a different brake light which isnt supplied with the spoiler, but the spoiler covers where the original one sits anyway, if you can get them the votex ones look almost exactly the same as the gti one but re use your standard high level brake light which im pretty sure is the same brake light as the 9n, check out dannys black polo on here (i cant remember what he's called himself on here though)
