T5 met its match tonight!!

went out for a good drive in the T5 tonight and its been pulling well in the cool air, but on the way back i noticed some bright HID's come up behind abit quick. Without thought i booted it in second while thinking im not making much ground here!!

I got onto a long straight as the guy had got caught up and sure enough he come blasting up behind me like a fookin rocket, i slammed it in third but he passed me doing like 100 and i was at 50 so i only caught him up when he slowed down but pulling up behind him i saw it was a Mini Cooper S

eager to put mine up against his we hit the sharp roundabout (wet) and booted it out the roundabout but the poor old T5 made a meal out of the inside tyre in 2nd and by the time it started to put power down he had gained about 10 car lengths going uo hill and he was flying!!, i hit third and with the power down it then took me some time to close the gap and it took me right upto 115mph before i actually got anywhere near him, they were so even when the power was down together lol

I flashed him and he pulled over, first thing i said was foook thats a quick S!!!!, he told me it had been tuned to 210bhp hehe so that made me feel pretty good to say the mini weights 350kgs less than the T5 and it only has around 30bhp more.

Id love for it to have been dry because i think he would have lost the advantage and the 850 would have gained some ground on him for sure.

After reading this I have come too the conclusion that I want another powerful car!

My tuned G60 was fun but that made me paranoid for some reason!

Might be the same Mini Cooper S iv'e seen knocking about and it looks quick i like the tuned ones they do like the works tuning kit sounds like a close race they do handle well and feel planted as well
