Fabia 1.9TDi PD100
Right I haven't posted for a while on here, so I'll put up a spec list of my car.
My car is a '52' Fabia PD100 and I owned it since June 2009 and since then I have done the following:
Exterior:
Fabia Sport Roof Spoiler
16'' OZ Superturismo GT in silver
Philips Silvervision Indicators
Polo Rear Area Wiper
Interior:
JVC KD-601 Head Unit
Blaupunkt Rear Speakers
Alpine 1780 Front Speakers
Engine:
PD160 Intake
Shark Performance Stage 1 Remap (RR @ 150bhp and 235lb/ft)
Handling:
Eibach Lowering Springs

It's going well, loving the remap.
Next plan (if I have enough money) will be a Golf VR6 clutch and G60 flywheel to handle to extra power

Re: Fabia 1.9TDi PD100
I Think its because the PD100 clutch is no where near as beefy. Danny had hirg done at 130bhp because it killed the clutch at 150

At 150bhp I'm on/or above the limit as I'm starting to get clutch slip when floored, doesn't happen all the time buts its there

If your looking for 170bhp, I would also look into changing the flywheel as well. Also I believe 150bhp is close to the limit of the stock injectors as my car goes into limp mode at 3500rpm in 5th, which goes away when I switch the engine off and back on again

Re: Fabia 1.9TDi PD100
The total maximum for pd100 injectors is 170bhp but if you can get that out of them or not is a different story like you said , and yeah looks like a clutch and flywheel jobbie

Re: Fabia 1.9TDi PD100
The car will have to go in the garage when I get back from a weeks rest in Wales as I have either a worn passenger side drive shaft or a worn wheel bearing on the passenger side.
I'm going for drive shaft as if I remove the map (via the STS) the noise is quiter at 30mph than with the map on

Nice a bit steep have you sorted your rear bottom arm inner bushers out they have been modified and now don't wear out as quick fitted a few at work on them and Polo's

The £130 was fitted (non-OE part - lack of funds for OE) and I haven't touched the rear bushes

Re: Fabia 1.9TDi PD100
Bit of bad news on the car front as the bloody vanes on the turbo have started to stick and throwing the car into limp mode at 3.5k revs in 5th (going to give this 10k booster a try in an attempt to free the vanes up).
So when I have the funds, I will either fit a turbo from an PD115 (believe this would be a straight swap without changing bits), PD130 with the relevant bits or sell the car and get a PD140 Mk5 Golf

Re: Fabia 1.9TDi PD100
I'm undecided on which one to go for.
PD115 turbo, mapped to suit - ~155bhp and ~245lb/ft
PD130 turbo and injectors, mapped to suit - ~160bhp and ~250lb/ft with current clutch and flywheel, ~175bhp and ~270lb/ft with VR6 clutch and G60 flywheel
