As if having the swap the engine in the T5 recently wasn't enough we had this car come into work a few days after
customer said she was driving down the motorway when the oil light came on, she decided the best thing to do was keep driving!!, within a few mins she said the engine started to tap and knock but of course she kept driving.
In the end MR big end paid a visit to the outside of the block for the first time in about 10 years lol







I though that the destruction caused by the rod on my T5 engine was bad but this was alot worse!!, the piston was smashed in two, the rod actually broke in the middle and the little end was broken, i found the gudgeon pin in the sump! LOL

That's bad what a mess fancy carrying on driving when it's making that much noise just for the sake of checking the oil at least once a week people like that make me angry it's not a hard job to pull a dip stick out

i agree, thing is with this one is the oil level was fine. The oil light came on through those seals blowing i was telling you about yesterday
She still had no excuse though because the oil light was one lol.
