Hi came across this problem yesterday just assumed I'd got a bulb out, after finally gettin round to it looked at the bulb didn't appear to be blown so changed it anyway and is still not working. Any answers will be great thanks.

Check that there isn't a fuse that has blown if not check feeds to the main beam stalk.

are they h1? sometimes theres an earth wire with like a spade connector that shoves on inside the headlight unit close to where the bulb sits, as you would notice with a h1 its only a single pin connector so it has to earth out via the lamp unit itself, the earth wire can sometimes easily be knocked off when changing a bulb and then cause the problem
