which is THREE mods would you choose???? vote for the best!!
battle of the ultimate modifications, what would you choose???
1. The Turbocharger, in basic from its a simple "air pump" but its transformed the world of fast, eco friendly and racing cars and we've grown to love the noise and feel from these amazing things!!!
2. The Vortec Supercharger, also known as a centrifugal supercharger, used on alot of American large capacity V8 engines to give massive gains in power and torque!!!!
3. NOS Nitrous Oxide System, developed in drag racing this basic gass mixed with fuel gives anything from 1bhp-3000bhp, its made it way onto the streets were it proven itself time and time again as a serious weapon of choice for racing and fun!!
4. Throttle Body's, iconic throaty sound for high power N/A engines, normally fitted to cars intended for high revs high bhp output's!!!! expensive but yet very effective!
5. Water Methanol Injection, designed in rallying and mad its way into racing and fast road use, a firm favourite with turbo tuning, it allows people to run more boost, more ignition advance and maintain safe combustion temperatures. added side effects include denser inlet air leading to more power and torque!!!
6. Routes Type Supercharger, famous for the "wining" sound when on boost, gives power from the the word go and finds itself amongst some of the world most powerful engines in drag racing!!!
High Lift Camshafts/uprated cams. A common modification for a serious tuners to extract as much power and torque at a chosen rev range as possible, normally a modification that is designed to work along side other mods and engines specs!!
Ported and Polished "fully worked cylinder head", ported, polished, skimmed, lighter bigger valves, stronger springs, 3 angle valve seats, cut down valve guides........a recipe for high gains in power!!, fully worked over heads are very expensive and have to made to work with the manifolds and cams but this mod is a serious engine tuners way of flowing more air and increasing an engines Volumetric Efficiency!!!
LIVE mapped ECU software, this is new age stuff involving hours of computer time to adjust fueling, boost, timing etc to extract more power from an engine while maintaining reliability, a well mapped ecu can push an engine to its safe limit and give great results!!!!
SuperChip, the classic old way of boosting your engines power!, remove the engines brain and fit a new one with revised maps, chips can be custom made for and engine or generic maps can be fitted to a chip for a common setup to gain power and allow an engine to work with other mods!!

I chose turbo, ported head for better spool-up and flow, and live-mapped ECU.
With the right engine I'd choose suped or ITBs though
BTW its spelled roots!
