Re: Air filter
Ive moved your topic into this section as its more suited
If you want to fit a Universal air filter to a cinq its a little bit of a pain, you need a reducer for the large throttle body outer edge and some metal or silicone piping such as this -
thanks

Re: Air filter
the kit of ebay comes with everything you see in the pics (my old car) i do still have a RaidHP aftermarket airftler that simply sits ontop of the TB but idealy you want to be sucking air in as far away from the hot engine as possible.
And thanks, its mainly there for purpose over looks because it can suck 100% cool air and the turbo is just behind it and with it being turbo the water inst an issue, its seen the most horrific rain and motorways etc and its fine due to the turbo burning the mist of water of as it gets sucked in past the foam so it actually cools down charge temps

Re: Air filter
if you go on such sites as demon tweaks, larkespeed etc then you will find a reducer but you will need to measure the throttle body were it will fit too and decide the pipe diameter you want to reduce to, for example the pipeing on the ebay kits is about 3.5"-4" but you can go down to 1.5" if need be.
Ebay also sell reducers
