Newbie from ireland
well, im new here
names kev, from galway, living in dublin for college at the min, im the Dublin rep for afterdarkcruisers.com, one of irelands biggest modified car forums.
drive a passat sportline 130bhp TDI, iv a stage2 remap on it at the min putting out 180BHP and 490foot pounds of torque... fully colour-coded, brembo brakes, diamond plate sump... and all standard vw suspension setup (sportline is harder and lower from standard so no need for that) original sports semi bucket seats, 6speed uk import. absolute rocket i love it.
doing a few bits on it now, planning on doing a bit of CF wrapping small bits inside
here it is at a minimeet photoshoot just last saturday

Re: Newbie from ireland
welcome to the forum thanks for signing up, things are pretty quite ar the moment but should pick up again soon
stunning passat! mods sound well too looks really well ....you sure the torque figure you state is not in NM?? there is an ST tdci on here running 188bhp with 321lb/sf and as a rule the duratorq lump is a higher torque engine over power (stock 400NM)- (460NM mapped). 490NM for yours sounds about bang on.
so you have more plans for the future with the car? with the right mods these engine can go along way
thanks
Jason

aah thought so, i no what you mean though about mapped up diesels! awsome to drive and fast as hell. the ST-tdci on here is my dads and thats currently at 188.5bhp and every time i drive it i want it.....power and mpg!!!! awsome haha
thing i like about tweaked diesels is the fact that they are fast in any gear at any revs which is great for both fast and lazy driving
thanks
