Citroen DS3 launching around March 2010

The DS3 unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor show in September 2009 the DS3's distinctive floating roof is available in a choice of four colours Black, White, Blue and Red to contrast with the main body of the car. The wing mirrors and rubbing strips can also be personalised in colours or smart chrome finish and the wheels and wheel centres are available in a wide spectrum of colours inside the DS3 offers furthur personalisation with the dashboard strip which encompasses the air vents instrument cluster. Multi-function screens and even a scented air fresher in a choice of six finishes. The seats can be upholsted in five different trims. Making up the 100 exclusive DS3's are 20 pre-specified variants with prices ranging from £12.985 to £18.745 four engines are availabe 1.4 VTi 95hp, 1.6VTi 120hp, 1.6 THp 150hp and also a 1.6 HDI 90hp Diesel. The three Petrol units are from the family of Citroen power-plants co developed with BMW. Customers will benefit from an array of equipment on these pre-specified models for example a customer can order a highly-specified DS3 1.6 THp 150hp with a 6-speed manual gearbox in Sport Yellow with a Black roof and door mirrors chrome rubbing strips and 17" Black diamond-tipped alloy wheels as well as Yellow sports seats rear parking sensors. HiFi system and USB box with Bluetooth for £16.670. It also has on the 25-11-2009 EURO Ncap 5 Stars 87% adult protection 71% child protection 35% pedestrian protection 83% safety assist.

Just abit of Info on the top of the range DS3 (excluding the 200bhp DS3 R which is still a concept)
it will have a 1.6 litre 16 valve engine for a change which will turn out around 120bhp (ermm less than the C2 vts)
and a 0-60 time of 8.9 seconds. It will cost around 13,700 pounds and only comes in manual gearbox
max speed is 118 mph

There was suppose to be a 150 bhp DS3 version which has not appeared yet maybe they are holding out on 200bhp monster to win the day

So what do think of The DS3 VTI 120 (yes they have drop the VTS name)

Not the best lookin car quite slow very over priced top speed not amazing and why lose the VTS badge sounds better.

so whats the point of this car haven't they only just redeveloped the C3 ?

Not sure to be honest with you but it looks a lot nicer than a C3
