Bam-Bam..... My C2 GT #0422 W.I.P!!

So... Thought id start a Progress thread. I havent many pictures throughout the life of my car up untill recently when i discovered that i DO know how to use a camera! Lol.

Any way, HE Started life as a Bog Standard 04plate 1.6 16V GT..... Mind you, it is still that (Just not bog standard anymore!)

Current Spec List is as follows...
Lowered on sport springs 35ish mm... (FK Highsport Coilovers sat waiting to go on!)
Ashley decat 4-2-1 manifold...
Full Ashley System
VTS Inlet Manifold...
Samco Intake with Green Cotton air filter...
NGK Iridium spark Plugs...
Constella QuickShift assembly... (The First one they made!)
Helix Oraganic 3 Piece Clutch
Sparco Sprint V bucket seats...
Willans FIA 5point twist lock Drivers harness and 4point passenger harness
Sparco steering wheel...
Rear strut brace...
Full custom built roll cage...
Matte black vinyl wrapped roof...
Carbon Wrapped Bonnet and Grill Slatts...
Show / Track wheels - Compomotive MO5 flat face 15" superlight weight alloy wheels finished in gloss black...
Toyo Proxy T1R rubber all round...
Everyday / show wheels - Prima 16" Finished in High Gloss Black...
Fully stripped rear end of all seats, carpets and door cards.
Brembo 4pot calipers (sourced from a pug 406coupe)
Grooved discs 283mm (sourced from a pug DS3 Racing)
YellowStuff brake pads (sourced from a focus RS... Strangly!?)


NOW FOR SOME PICTURES!!


One of the first Mods done was of course the induction kit, Picked up a half decent one which i still have kicking about somewhere..
and also decided to paint the Roca cover and Battery cover to match



My very First C2Club meet!! this was probably 6 years ago now!!



Engine bay then changed again due to me not liking the colours and wanted to mix it up a bit! Also the addition of the Stainless Battery Cover!



Then came my love for all things with BASS!! Audio started to appear... First in the Form of one Fli12" active... then came a Second...



Shortly followed by Double din DVD Touch screen and PS2!!



Then along came the want of a decent looking Exhaust system.... So invested in a Cat-Back Powerflow system with a 4" Slash cut tip...



GT Door Trims



Then one morning i walked out to the car to find it almost front end on the floor..... Yep, The front passenger coil spring had snapped!... So aftermarket 30mm drop ones were ordered and fitted!



Show cage was then bought and fitted along with a pair of Willans 3Point Harnesses.....




Then the Audio Changed again to a custom built set up.





Now, in between this there is a bit of a picture lack.... it did stay like this for a while, so probably not missing much tbh. Lol.

Then went on to wrap the Roof Matte Black.



Bought the Roll Cage off Teddy that Gary Stone had built..






Then started to strip the car... rear seats came out... then cards... carpet... sound system, but that went back in almost straight away! And then in went the Sparco Sprint V bucket seats




Got bored of the 4" so had a 3" outward rolled re done by Powerflow.



Then all of a sudden everything up till now happened!! Brembo 4pots, Compomotive MO5 Flat Faces in 15" went on, 20mm Hubcenrtic spacer, Dash lights were changed and customed... Ashley Manifold...Cage Respray.... Bassically, a LOT!!








And that i think is about it so far.... The life of Bam-Bam!!

More updates will be coming as the front bumper has been off today and more work done seeing as i had a day off. Keep your eyes peeled!!

Hi mate C2 looks awesome some good progress nice work i would have liked to do more to mine but it's now up for sale id like to see yours iv'e seen alot of what Gary Stone has done not only with his C2 but other people's cars he's done some good builds
