My 1st car

so heres my 1st car, just a pre warning : this car was a cat C write off so its not in the best shape but will hopefully sort it out.
now the 1st mod was the stereo from this :
excuse the dirt, its not a very clean car yet.

its a smart one that ash!, good starting point, are those wheels on that model from standard??, they look like GTi or TDI wheels etc.
Plus its black!!......cant beat black after a good polish

no idea jason, guy i bought it off strips cars for a living and sell parts but he did this one up to sell as a whole but im looking at getting some nice big 18" alloys on it soon

well you couldnt have picked a better car to play with lol, there absolutely s##t loads of stuff out there for golfs, and youve got a million Audi/VW wheels to choose from if your sticking with the VAG look

well after all the crap weather we've had, i finally managed to get it cleaned and tried my 1st ever polish and wax so 2 hours later its looking nice and shiny THEN it rains
so thought i would go see how the wax is doing and took a pic:
dont think thats too bad for my first attempt.

Nice job there's nothing more satisfying than a good polish and waxing transforms a car completely i hate the weather changes so fast

role on summer guys when you can just about maintain a clean and polished shiny car for most of the day......apart from a few flys!!!

ive had a slight accident today i park my car next to a lamp post and went out today and went to reverse past the lamp post and clipped it with my passenger wing mirror so now i got a cracked casing along with all the other things wrong with it lol

these things happen mate, all too often.
As long as the wing mirror itself is okay then you may be able to just buy a replacement cover for a 10 or 20 quid
either way places such as GSF car parts sell new wing mirrors cheap enough, what else is damaged??

it was jus the wing mirror i clipped, the other damage is mainly paintwork related

well one small part has turned up today , will get a picture once i wash it tomorrow as ive been out and bought some new cleaning products to try hopefully another part will turn up before i wash aswell so might be 2 new pictures to show off

well gave it a much needed wash and another part turned up that i wasnt expecting so was happy with that although the thing i ordered over a week ago still hasnt come
well here is the small change, as i said it wasnt a major change but i think it makes it look alot better

Lookin better i think longer aeriels make a car look remote controled lol radio with my short aeriel works fine.
