My jetta 06

Well as some of you might have seen me saying i have a jetta well here it is, i sold my polo but with that gone it let me move on to bigger and better things, so about 3 week ago i picked up a 2006 jetta 2.0 tdi sport with 49k and full vw service history and timing belt and water pump done, had afew ideas going round my head and wasnt sure what i wanted to do with the car modding wise.

Well here it is once id picked it up



Then after browsing the net for hours looking for wheels i finally found a set that i wanted so went and got them.


After id picked the wheels up they didnt go anywhere near the car till i'd bought some coilovers so the hunt went on for the coilovers, in the end i went for some fk ak streets, once they'd arrived it was a couple of days wait before a rick could fit them for me but what a difference it made when it was all sorted.

mmmmmmm love the look mate, kind of like that style of rim, wonder if they would suit an A4 too lol, good choice on waiting to fit them till you had the coilies as you get the full tranceformation in one go rather than driving a sweet looking motor on stilts lol

afew updates, now have some 312mm brakes ready to fit on the front and also now have a rep RNS510 satnav system which looks and works spot on

Well at the minute the right mods have come up for sale at the right time, sad times tho the car will be entering winter mode on saturday, raising coilovers and going back to the 17's or maybe some more 18's but there a big maybe hehe

What car are the 312s from ?

think they were from a mk2 leon mate, wont work on the mk4 as they use different hubs on the mk5 based models, you would be looking at tt's mk1 leons etc for the setup

Fitted plateless grille
Indicators as running lights (vw option)
Wound coilovers all the way down on front and set height on the rear to match
Had the centre and rear boxes removed from the exhaust and replaced with a straight piece

Looks amazing i love the look it makes a big difference not having the number plate on show i like the idea of the running lights

It's ok mate I needed to find a good place for mot's in Doncaster anyway, and call it 15 grand cash and its a deal.
