Stealth Accord
ok thought it was about time to start a thread for my latest bus.
Spec List
1999 2.0 16v V-Tec Accord
White 15" Alloys of un-known make
JapSpeed 4-2-1 with De-Cat and full straight through exhaust with VXR style trapiziod tip
lowered on the front but have a nasty feeling its been down with coilover style sleeve things (will be replaced with coilies when i can afford it)
smoked rear lights
limo tint rear windows and legal tints on front
pipercross cone filter
typeR short throw shifter (from LHD car)
Matt Black paint work
TypeR lip kit
also the previous owner recons its been chipped and the limiter has been removed but i aint tried as the stem seals are gone so burns a little oil, i think i may actually keep this car as it drives perfect just has a couple of signs of neglect and age realted marks
its not in the best of condition but i never do buy them in mint condition, i like a project and this is defo a work in progress lol

Re: Stealth Accord
sorry i have been quiet but got alot on lol
small up date, did a run from ilford essex to prudhoe northumberland the other night which is a run of 295miles, i used 48.6litres of fuel which converted into gallons is 12.6, which gives a result of 23.2mpg sitting at 70mph all the way, now i could have gained a little by not using cruise control but that would take it to 26mpg tops, hmmmmm think my lambda is dead completly lol

sounds about as likely as pigs high in the sky. No offence lol
And given that you can get pretty much any car at all made road legal here in the UK it doesnt matter... you can get purpose built 1500-2500bhp drag cars running 8 second quarters running legally on the road. IMO its not worth building a car unless you can nip to the shops in it now and again
My guess is, that it either sits for 6-12 months before getting scrapped, or you put an engine in and sell it on... sorry if I seem cynical but I've seen far too many of these types of projects where previous owner bodgery and age start to take their toll on the car and you simply just lose interest.
