Cheers mate not sure on power really as i think the fueling is right out as its still on standard turbo so should only really run upto 170-180max but should be alot quicker with the t25 200hp+ safely hopefully

well the bigger turbo and injectors will give you alot more than any map on the current setup, that is if the GT ECU can be mapped at all??? or is its chip only?
Either way you wouldn't regret the turbo upgrade. There are however better turbo's available now that would be far better for the GT Smile for example my GT1752 turbo has a bigger compressor and wheel with a smaller turbine making it spin up alot quicker than the T25 while flowing more air making more power too Smile which equals a quicker road car if fitted to the GT against a T25 GT Punto, although there may be even smarter choices for your engine.

I always feel the T25 was made for slightly larger engines than our smaller capacity, you get good power but i can imagine the lag would be a little annoying.
You should bring it along to Noble's with us soon before you go further to see where its at and if its all healthy Wink then go from there?

Thanks

the ecu is a removable chip and if i remember right the seb4.11 is the best and there anit a better one, if it does have seb4.11 then it has been set-up to run a t25 or similar so it will actually be running bad at the mo on a stock turbo

the problem with just turning the boost up you start to over work the turbo and your inlet temps might start to creep up as the turbo is working alot harder thus heating up alot more safe bet would be to meet me somewhere and get the standard PGT ecu i have lying around and see if it runs better on the stock chip and then once you get a T25 slot that on and put the seb4.11 ecu back on

I personally wouldn't go swapping anything around without visiting a rolling road for a check that the fueling is okay in doing so, especially swapping ECU's and what not Smile

Better safe then sorry......piston's work better without holes haha

hahahahaha very true jay, unfortinatly my knowledge on the GT engine is limited as i never got as far as running one just the setting up fase when i was going to stick one in me cinq, your running forged internals and if you have got you T25 on way then i would say just drive it very carefully until its ready, then stick the T25 on and pop along to a RR and get it checked to see how its running and get it set-up accordingly just to be safe

cheers boys i will do, and thanks for the comments too...i like the haa aswell, yea defo need to go to a rolling road mate to get it setup...the tubby is at 17psi at the moment so surely if i was to run around 20psi it would help the ratio of fuel to air??? I know its no good for the turbo and engine etc etc but its not going to be running that for long just until the 25 goes on so would that not help at all???
